Sentinel-3 OLCI Truecolor RGB image download - irlawrence - 2019-03-27
Hello,
One of the products in the Sentinel-3 NRT data visualisation labs is the OLCI Truecolor RGB (9,6,4).
Are you distributing these Truecolor images as a product or is it just for visualisation? I have the corresponding Level 1 data but these come in 21 individual spectral bands.

Hi,
We extract 3 channels (9, 6 and 4) from the Level 1 data available on EOCloud/Creodias and apply atmospheric correction, and then use the output as RGB values to produce pyramids of PNG tiles (the images displayed in the Syntool portals) but the intermediary results are not saved so there is no product we can distribute.

Thanks for your response. I am now using Python's Satpy which is doing a good job reproducing the RGB Truecolor imagery.
