FTP Skimulator outputs

A ftp has been set up to broadcast outputs from the Skimulator. 
The ftp will be populated as soon as data are available, and a README file describing the available data will be updated:
ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...tor/README

As for now, only global run are available for L2b and L2c products:
- Global  L2b, L2c products derived from the Global WW3 at 1/4 degrees (inputs data: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/HINDCAS..._MITGCM_1Y) :
ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...018_8a_025
- Global L2b, L2c products derived from the Global WW3 at 1/4 degrees for the error (inputs data: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/HINDCAS...MITGCM_1Y/) and the Global mitgcm interpolated at 1/12º for the currents:
ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...op_2018_8a

Note: there is a known issue with land mask on this data, data == 0 should be considered as masked.

New run are available in Fram area:
inputs data are located on the ftp : ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/HINDCAS...CM_FRAM_1Y.
4 configurations are available, each run contains L2b, L2c and L2d data:
- 2018_8a: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...op_2018_8a
- 2018_8b: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...op_2018_8b
- 2018_8c: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...op_2018_8c
- 2018_6a: ftp://ftp.ifremer.fr/ifremer/ww3/PROJECT...op_2018_6a

Hi Lucile,

I am having trouble accessing the inputs data from the link above:

It asks me for a name and password, which I don't have. Normally, I just connect as a guest. That works for older data sets, not the new ones.

Can you advise on what I can do about this?

I've managed to run the simulation, that produces .nc file outputs, with the main error similar to:

I think this is to do with using an old Fram data set. As I can't access the recent ones. See attachment for unix output errors

Hi Brendan,
the link from the initial posts on WW3 data from Charles is working fine with me, without asking any login nor password.
Are you using a mac by any chance? If so, you have to copy paste the link on your browser and not authorize your finder to open this link.
And I would not recommend using the old data as there are known issues regarding this dataset.
